Today we celebrate Internationa Volunteer Day. It's a day to honour those people, who selflessly give their time, skills, and enthusiasm to make the world a better place. We at the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation are lucky enough to have the support of hundreds of thousands of people of all ages, creeds, and world-views, who come together to help us to achieve our goal - ensure that all children in Poland can rely on access to the best medical devices.
Volunteers have been creating our history from the very beginning of our charitable activity. What began as a small local initiative grew into an international movement attracting over 120 000 volunteers worldwide.
We wanted to know more about our volunteers, and we were also curious about what the general public thought about our volunteers. Are you interested in what we found out?
Thank you to all volunteers and let's keep on rocking!
