Mastercard plays with the GOCC for the fifth time this year. We would like to encourage you to play with us too and contribute to the success of the Grand Finale fundraiser. Now it is even easier than ever before. We are all so immersed in social media and you can use your presence there for the common good. On Janurary the 15th, when tweeting or posting to the Instagram please use #MastercardGrazWOŚP hashtag. What will happen then? Mastercard pledges to donate 5PLN for each tweet, and 1 PLN for each photo posted on Instagram.
Starting today, and up till the day of the Grand Finale on the 15th, if you share your picture showing an act of kindness, and we, in turn, will share it on the massive screen in front of the Place of Culture and Science in Warsaw. In order for us to find it in the flurry of media activity, please add #MastercardGrazWOSP hashtag to your picture. Let's show that helping others is easy and fun - and well worth telling everyone about it. Another thing, which is worth telling everyone about is the traditional firework display - the so-called 'Light to the Heavens', which is sponsored by the financial services corporation.
Mastercard is also kitting out the volunteers, in cooperation with Bank Pekao, providing them with mobile payment terminals. They will be collecting funds in 70 towns across the country, allowing you to donate with your debit or credit card, or even with your mobile phone to avoid rushing to nearest ATM. What is more, all transactions made with Mastercard or Maestro at the charitable auction platform are free of all transaction costs.
Mastercard does not limit their support to the Grand Finale events. The company is behind the 150 thousand first aid kits delivered to schools participating in the CPR for Schools Programme, and it is one of the partners supporting the organisation of the biggest open-air music festival in Europe - Woodstock Festival Poland.
The managing director of the company emphasises the fact that the brand is delighted to be able to support an initiative, which is the driving force behind the action which has been uniting Poles for 25 years.
