The registration process of Collection Centres holding the public charitable collection as a part of the 26th Grand Finale is now open. The deadline for applications falls on November 20th, 2017.

There are different methods of running the public charitable drive, which in the 26 years of its activity became an international phenomenon, uniting over 120 000 volunteers working at Collection Centres in Poland and abroad.

Collection Centre

Collection Centre is a local entity, responsible for holding a charitable public collection. The Collection Centre works independently but in aid of the charitable goal set by the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation. The Collection Centre takes full responsibility for recruitment, placement and retention of volunteers and for overseeing all formal aspects of cash collection.

Rules and Regulations of Collection by means of Stationary Collection Boxes displayed on the premises of the Collection Centre

Stationary Collection Box Fundraiser

This form of collection is tailored for business and corporate offices, shops or other companies which would like to collect money using a Stationary Collection Box displayed on their premises. The collection box is displayed on the premises alongside the official permit and, unlike the collection by means of a Collection Box displayed on the Collection Centre's premises,  this collection does not require the presence of the volunteer.

Online Collection Collection Box Fundraiser

This method of collection is addressed to entities, such as companies or businesses as well as individuals who run web portals and websites. A collection by means of an Online Collection Box should be held only on the internet.

You can choose from different forms of collection, such as:

  • crowdfunding
  • online payment form
  • international money transfers
  • cryptocurrency collection
  • group buying
  • mobile app collection

'Closed Event'

The collection taking place during an event - a concert, or a sporting event, or a different kind of entertainment show, which can take place between 15.12.2017 and 15.01.2018. The proceeds made during this event, which can only be made in the form of voluntary donations made into the collection boxes. Volunteers can collect money in the venue where the event is taking place.

Contrary to what the name suggests, this event is not meant to a closed group of people. What the name implies is the fact that the event, unlike a public collection, should be limited to the venue where the event is taking place.

The objective of our charitable collection is to raise funds to support the objective chosen by the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation. This time we aim to ensure that all children born in Poland have equal access to healthcare.
