5 Great Reasons to Participate in our CPR Record
Sixth time might be the charm! We will be celebrating the international Restart a Heart Day by promoting skills which can be detrimental in saving someone's life and teaching the ins and outs of cardiopulmonary resuscitation to as many people as possible. We also want to show how easy it is to learn, which is best proven by the fact that the basics of CPR have been taught to well over 3 million primary school children taking part in our educational initiative - CPR for Schools. Join us in an attempt to hold the biggest simultaneous CPR session on October the 16th!
Why take part in the record attempt?
First of all, taking part in the record attempt is a great way to learn CPR or refresh your knowledge, what is especially important, considering the fact that CPR is, luckily, the skill we don't get to practice too often. Secondly, you will be making your own contribution to creating buzz around CPR knowledge and perhaps your participation will encourage others to learn how to perform it. The more people know how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation the higher the odds of them providing help to victims of heart attack. What is more, the record attempt is much more than an educational initiative - it is a great day of fun for the entire family and a way to meet new people from your community. Speaking of community, the record attempt is a great opportunity to bring the community together and to show your appreciation for children and teachers who actively participate in our CPR for Schools initiative.
The beginning of the new year is a great opportunity to look back at what we have achieved in 2018. What a busy, unforgettable year it has been, and we are grateful that so many of you were a part of it!
Doctors and researchers agree that early diagnosis considerably increases the chances of successful cancer treatment. Inspired by the work done in the Regional Center for Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment in Zduńska Wola, we want to help establish more similar medical facilities across the country!
