This year we will use funds raised through tax return donations to purchase equipment for children's hospices. This is not the first time we decided to support children's hospices. These specialized units allow seriously ill children simply - to live and receive treatment in the comfort of their homes, surrounded by their loved ones. The professional staff not only manages some of the most difficult, sometimes terminal cases, but offers invaluable support to parents who are faced with their child's disease.
Last year we have decided to provide children's hospices whith cars, which are used to transport medical staff and equipment necessary for treatmets to the little patient's home. We have purchased 29 cars for this purpose. This year we aim to purchase equipment in order to faciliate the work of doctors and nurses working in children's hospices in Poland. Hospices simply help children live and enjoy life - as much as possible...

Lidia Niedźwiedzka-Owsiak, who is the director of the medical division of the GOCC Foundation, was awarded an Honoris Causa at the Poznań University of Medical Sciences. This recognition was given in appreciation of her commitment to upholding the highest standards in healthcare.
