Under the Polish law you can decide to donate 1% of your tax return to charity of your choice. It is an effortless way of supporting charitable initiatives from the comfort of your home. This year we will use funds raised through tax return donations to purchase equipment for children's hospices. You can also download a handy app, which would make filling your tax documents much easier.
This is not the first time we decided to support children's hospices. These specialized units allow seriously ill children simply - to live and receive treatment in the comfort of their homes, surrounded by their loved ones. The professional staff not only manages some of the most difficult, sometimes terminal cases, but offers invaluable support to parents who are faced with their child's disease.
Last year we have decided to provide children's hospices whith cars, which are used to transport medical staff and equipment necessary for treatmets to the little patient's home. We have purchased 29 cars for this purpose. This year we aim to purchase equipment in order to faciliate the work of doctors and nurses working in children's hospices in Poland. Hospices simply help children live and enjoy life - as much as possible...
Traditionally, on Fridays just before the Grand Finale fundraiser, the GOCC Foundation hosts a press conference to sum up the preparations for the annual collection.
