Equipment for the fight against sepsis
The GOCC Foundation has just completed the three-day-long 66th Open Tender held to buy medical equipment for the fight against sepsis. The Foundation spent a record-breaking amount of PLN 168 million!
The flagship event brings people clad in orange t-shirts to the streets of Warsaw. The race, which takes the participants through some of the most scenic locations of the capital city, will take place on Sunday, 29 January 2023. The limit of participants for the race is set at 5 000 people.
Please note that all the money raised through the sale of starting packages will go towards purchasing personal insulin pumps for pregnant women with diabetes.
Overall, we have bought and donated 1,892 personal insulin pumps available for rent at clinics across the country. As a result, pregnant women with diabetes can rent personal insulin pumps free of charge to manage their diabetes and ensure that their pregnancy is safe and healthy.
All the registered participants will receive a starter pack including an orange T-shirt, buff and a medal, and the participant of the Warsaw race will also get their starting number.
