Programme for Personal Insulin Pump Treatment of Children with Diabetes- within the scope of this program GOCC purchases insulin pumps which give children a chance for a simpler and more active life despite diabetes. This programme was acitve until 2008 and it has allowed many children experience happy and careless childhood without worrying about regular insulin injections. Insulin pumps monitor blood sugar levels constantly and keep the balance necessary for healthy functioning of the organism.
Last weekend we managed to complete a project that we have been working on together with the Polish community living in Scotland for several years. The GOCC Foundation has its own tartan! On Sunday, during a special visit to Scotland, Jerzy Owsiak received a brand new kilt.
