Even though the main purpose of Peace Patrol training is work at Pol'and'Rock Festival and help during the Grand Finale Fundraiser, the members of the Peace Patrol get involved in different activities, events, and initiatives which are in sync with the ideals and spirit of the foundation. There is no doubt about the fact that the Patrollers are always sought after by event organisers, as they are bound to be professional, creative, and a joy to work with.
Just to name a few events on the busy roster of a Peace Patroller: they are present at marathons, off-road rallies, and other sporting events across the country. You can spot the beautiful people sporting red and yellow T-shirts at different cultural events such as music festivals, concerts, conventions...each event might be different and each meeting unique, but we can guarantee that friendships last for years and adventures never end!
Last weekend we managed to complete a project that we have been working on together with the Polish community living in Scotland for several years. The GOCC Foundation has its own tartan! On Sunday, during a special visit to Scotland, Jerzy Owsiak received a brand new kilt.
