Only 55 days remain until the 33rd Grand Finale! Preparations are picking up pace, and today we have exciting news for you – we’re announcing three more stars of the main concert in Warsaw. On the meadows of the PGE Narodowy, we will hear the legend of Polish punk rock - The Bill, the energetic trio - Dziwna Wiosna, and the charismatic - Renata Przemyk. Get to know them better!
The Bill – Icon of Polish Punk Rock
The band The Bill is a true legend of the punk scene, infecting fans worldwide with their energy for decades. Founded in Pionki, the group gained popularity thanks to their uncompromising lyrics and raw energy. While The Bill’s lineup has changed over the years, one thing has remained constant – their passion for music. The band was formed in 1986 in Pionki by Dariusz “Kefir” Śmietanka and Dariusz “Skóra” Stawski. From its early days, the group gained recognition on local stages despite frequent lineup changes. A breakthrough came with their participation in the legendary Jarocin Festival in 1992, where they won the audience award. This event marked a new chapter in the history of both the band and Polish punk.
In 2024, they released their tenth album, The Kada, featuring songs reflecting on Polish reality. Promoted through sold-out tours, the album proves the band still has a lot to say. The group has performed four times at the Most Beautiful Festival in the World – during the 19th and 20th Woodstock Festivals, the 23rd Woodstock Festival, and the recent 30th Pol'and'Rock Festival. On the PGE Narodowy meadows, you can expect a powerful performance – a blend of punk classics and fresh sounds!
Dziwna Wiosna – Cosmic Rock Trio
Dziwna Wiosna is one of the most original phenomena on the Polish music scene. Their work is a mix of gritty rock, beautiful melodies, and the unique charisma of their frontman, Dawid Karpiuk. Bassist Wojtek Traczyk and drummer Michał Młyniec complete this musical universe, creating sounds that draw listeners into an entirely new dimension.
Following their performance on the Second Stage at the 28th Pol'and'Rock Festival, where they won the Emerging Bands Competition, Dziwna Wiosna has become one of the most sought-after live bands. Their concert at the 33rd Grand Finale promises to be an explosion of emotions and sounds.
Renata Przemyk – A Voice That Moves Hearts
Renata Przemyk is an artist who needs no introduction. Her career, which began in the 1980s, is filled with unforgettable hits and artistic challenges. Whether she sings poetic ballads or energetic rock songs, she always captures attention with her extraordinary depth of emotion and unique voice. The artist has performed three times at the Most Beautiful Festival in the World – in 2019, 2020, and 2021.
With ten albums to her name, she is also known for numerous theatrical and musical projects. For over 30 years, she has tirelessly played concerts and recorded albums. Her voice, sometimes pure and sometimes rough, delivers emotions in their purest form, whether in a beautiful ballad or a sharp rock song. Starting with raw post-punk sounds, she has consistently expanded her instrumentation, experimented with sounds, and co-produced her albums. Her performance on the PGE Narodowy meadows will be a perfect opportunity to hear both classics and new interpretations in a magical and moving atmosphere.
