The representatives of the Foundation - our board members, Jurek Owsiak and Lidia Niedźwiedzka-Owsiak met with the children, their parents the dedicated staff at the nursing home for children to officially donate a new car for the facility. The car will be used by the staff to transport their young patients. The worth of the vehicle amounts to 90 thousand PLN, and the funds have been raised through the 1% charitable tax donations in 2016.
In 2016 charitable tax fundraiser drive we have received 4. 160.235,07 PLN in donations. These funds allowed us to support hospices. We have purchased 29 cars for these facilities, which allow the staff to travel to see their young patients or transport necessary equipment to their homes. It is important to note that it is not the first time our Foundation has supported children's hospices in Poland. So far, we have purchased equipment for over 8.5 million PLN - both devices and cars used by these facilities. We believe that children's hospices and nursing home do vital work caring for seriously ill children, alleviating their suffering. What is more, staff at these facilities offers invaluable support to parents, and that's why the Foundation is commited to providing them with the best possible equipment to make their work easier!
96 days before the 32nd Grand Finale, during the 67th Open Tender, we have revealed the aim of the upcoming winter fundraiser. This time, the GOCC Foundation will focus on the post-pandemic lung diseases - the raised funds will be used to purchase equipment for children's and adults' respiratory units.
