2006 - aftermath of Katowice hall collapse

  • 1 chainsaw for cutting concrete 
  • 1 jackhammer for demolition

2010 - Stop floods! - We held a unique summer edition of our fundraiser. In order to help firefighters, who were first responders on the scene of catastrophic floods, which affected southern Poland. We printed out blue heart stickers to be given to our generous donors.

  • 230 motor sludge pumps 
  • 130 single-phase alternators 
  • 15 triple-phase alternators 

Worth of equipment donated: 2.745.766,70 PLN. We have donated equipment to 444 firefighting units. 

 

2017 (October 6th) - the aftermath of devastating storms, which have hit northern and central Poland. We decided to purchase equipment for volunteer fire department from the areas affected by natural disaster. 

  • 50 emergency kits 
  • 36 AEDs
  • 32 spinal boards
  • 4 paediatric immobilization device 
  • 21 Cramer wire splint sets 
  • 23 manikins
  • 37 motor pumps
  • 38 power generators
  • 23 power saws 

Worth of equipment donated: 1 500 000 PLN. We have donated 264 pieces of equipment to 178 units. 

We have purchased and donated equipment worth 6 000 000 PLN.

Cultural exchange in check!

Last weekend we managed to complete a project that we have been working on together with the Polish community living in Scotland for several years. The GOCC Foundation has its own tartan! On Sunday, during a special visit to Scotland, Jerzy Owsiak received a brand new kilt.
