Our charity supplies medical devices to hospitals in Ukraine and provides medical devices to hospitals in Poland, in particular to locations that treat patients escaping the war in Ukraine. For example, Przemyśl, the town on the border between Poland and Ukraine, has been struggling with the influx of patients since the beginning of the war.
The board of our charity decided to donate a modern emergency vehicle, which is fully equipped with state-of-the-art devices such as EADs, suction pumps, resuscitation sets, and other necessary devices used by EMTs. The worth of the entire donation amounts to PLN 551 722, 45. What is more, the ambulance is also fully insured and comes with a set of spare tires.
Overall, the hospital in Przemyśl received 248 medical devices for PLN 6 096 960, 64. We donated, among many others: pulse oximeters, beds for neonates, hospital beds, and heart monitors.

Five days before the 32nd Grand Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, we visited the 'Pomnik - Centrum Zdrowia Dziecka' (Children's Memorial Health Institute) to ceremoniously inaugurate the first Ophthalmic Simulation Laboratory in Europe dedicated exclusively to the field of peadiatric ophthalmology.
