We are so very proud! The most expensive machine in the history of the GOCC, the first PET-CT scanner in Poland for children, allowed for screening of 100 patients so far.

The digital PET-CT scanner is a device which allows highly accurate and detailed imaging of tumour foci in children bodies. This equipment purchased by the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation for nearly PLN 16 mln is the most expensive machine in the history of the GOCC.

The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity aims to improve the speed and precision of paediatric cancer diagnosis available in public hospitals in Poland.

Doctors and researchers agree that early diagnosis considerably increases the chances of successful cancer treatment. Inspired by the work done in the Regional Center for Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment in Zduńska Wola, we want to help establish more similar medical facilities across the country!

Lidia and Jurek Owsiak visited Łódź to commemorate a double anniversary - 20 years of children's cancer treatment in the region and first anniversary of ONCOLAB, which bears the name of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity.

This Warsaw hospital is one of the most modern medical centres in the country. Our Foundation supported this children's clinic from the very start, and the overall worth of equipment donated to this hospital amounts to over 18 million PLN!

The Foundation has been supporting public medicine in Poland for 25 years, purchasing over 36 thousand pieces of equipment. The estimated worth of this equipment amounts to 720 000 000 PLN.

GOCC already played four times for children's oncology wards. Thanks to your generosity more then 88 milions were raised!
