The representatives of the Foundation, Jurek and Lidia have officially donated the fully-equipped ambulance to University Children's Hospital in Kraków. The emergency vehicle is worth nearly 600 thousand PLN.
The GOCC Foundation purchases medical equipment for wards across the country and runs four medical programmes and one educational programme in the effort of bringing real change and actually improving the situation in public hospitals and clinics in Poland.
The aim of the foundation is to implement positive changes on a national level, launching and equipping new specialist wards and units as well as investing in prevention and education.
Thanks to the January fundraiser and the support we receive throughout the year we are able to support different branches of medicine. We mainly focus on helping paediatric wards and ensuring that the youngest and most vulnerable patients receive the best possible care and to make sure that senior patients are provided with medical care in dignified setting - we support geriatric and paediatric wards.
In the 25 years of our activity we have supported the following branches of medicine:
- Cardiac surgery
- Medical diagnosis
