Children from schools participating in our CPR for Schools programmes have been attending free first aid lessons. The classes are conducted by teachers who not only have learned how to teach CPR and first aid but also receive all teaching aids and materials for free from the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation.
Despite our efforts to lobby to introduce mandatory first aid lessons into the primary school curriculum, we have not yet managed to convince the Ministry of Education to change school curriculum. However, all teachers can use our holographic stickers to show that their pupils have learned first aid. It's a great way of showing appreciation for the kid's involvement in the classes - after all, it is impossible to grade the ability to save someone's life!
Teachers, who implement our CPR for Schools programme in their classrooms can order the stickers on our website. This year 442 teachers have ordered over 38 thousand stickers for their students! So, there are almost 40 thousand young rescuers among us now!
