October first marks International Healthcare Workers Day. We wanted to take this opportunity to reiterate how grateful we are for all the work and commitment it takes to pursue a career that focuses on saving lives and helping people get better.

The board of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation decided to make an emergency purchase of hospital beds to support the national healthcare system in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic in Poland. Beds will be donated to hospitals tasked with creating wards for COVID-19 patients.

Senate and the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation in a joint effort to address the needs of Polish children's and youth and psychiatric care will host an expert debate.

Each Grand Finale fundraiser has a medical objective - we raise money to buy equipment for children's hospitals. Each year, we set a very clear fundraising goal. This year we are going to support paediatric surgery and subsequent treatment.

Jurek Owsiak, the Chairman of the Board of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation addresses the paediatric hospital directors in a plea to improve the conditions in which parents stay at the hospitals when they accompany their children.

This Warsaw hospital is one of the most modern medical centres in the country. Our Foundation supported this children's clinic from the very start, and the overall worth of equipment donated to this hospital amounts to over 18 million PLN!
