Senate of the Republic of Poland and the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation will host a debate where experts will attempt to find a solution to the crisis in the filed of Polish psychiatric care, especially issues befalling children's and youth psychic care and treatment.
Marshal of the Senate of the Republic of Poland, professor Tomasz Grodzki, and Chairman of the Board of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation, Jurek Owsiak will host and lead the debate. The experts will meet at the Senate on March 11th.
Children's and youth psychiatric care cannot wait. The diagnosis is clear - the scale of neglect is, enormous, and we must deal with a significant problem. We must take action immediately, so we need to ask experts for their advice and decide what the needs of the sector are. We need to find out what steps are necessary to help young people struggling with mental health get the help they require, said Tomasz Grodzki
We received research materials regarding children's and youth psychiatric care, and the results of the research are shocking. I sincerely hope that a meeting regarding this crisis in psychiatric care will allow us to take an immediate - and I must stress the need for immediate action. The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity began working to help already, said Jurek Owsiak.

On March, 27, the GOCC Foundation will reveal the final result of the 32nd Grand Finale fundraiser! The aim of the collection is to procure medical equipment for all 64 respiratory units nationwide.
