Olga Tokarczuk donated the first official replica of the medal to the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity to be auctioned off in aid of the medical objective of the Grand Finale fundraiser 2020.
Mastercard supports the fundraiser
This year we are rolling a new feature - something addressed to those of our volunteers, who are eager to begin their fundraising ahead of the day of the Grand Finale, which falls on January the 14th this year.
The application, available as a part of our online volunteer database (iWolontariusz) will work as an online eCollection Box. Each of 120 thousand volunteers can launch the application on their profile and begin collecting money for charity today, 10 days before they will take the Collection Boxes into the real world. The application is easy to use and allows the volunteers to share the link to secure payment with their friends -blending offline activity with online initiatives quite seamlessly. The sum raised digitally will then we added to the final tally of the sum that the volunteer manages to collect on Sunday, the 14th.
Each donation can be found in the 'night sky' as a symbolic light of generosity and support towards the charity. You - as our benefactor can either choose to support a personalized eCollection Box of an individual volunteer or donate - 'light the light' here.

Each Grand Finale fundraiser has a medical objective - we raise money to buy equipment for children's hospitals. Each year, we set a very clear fundraising goal. This year we are going to support paediatric surgery and subsequent treatment.
