International Day for Older Persons
On 14 December 1990, the United Nations General Assembly designated October 1st, as the International Day of Older Persons. The day serves to remind us about the needs of older persons.
Even though we are a long way away from the Open Tender, which is our method of purchasing medical equipment that requires our experts to meet with the manufacturers to inspect the devices, some hospitals have already received equipment from our charity. Thanks to the kindness of our friends from the companies manufacturing medical equipment, 11 hospitals nationwide have already received medical devices.

Ultrasonography machine worth nearly PLN 160 000 is already in use at the neonatal units and neonatal ICU at Morski Hospital in Gdynia.
Twenty hospital beds have been delivered to City Hospital in Zabrze.
Hospital in Poznań received a modern USG machine, which has been already put to good use.
Neonatal ventilators Fabian HFOi, which allow a non-invasive, high-intensity flow of air, helping the most vulnerable, tiny patients regain strength and helping them get better to have been donated to 12 hospitals across the country.

Salam Lab, an organization working within the network of Grupa Granica will be taking over the Humanitarian Aid Point established by the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity in Michałowo, located in the vicinity of the border between Poland and Belarus.
The chairman of the board of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, Jurek Owsiak, was named one of the personalities who have the biggest influence on the social landscape in Poland. He has also won the public vote in the "Citizen" category.
