During the 50th Open Tender, we have signed contracts to purchase almost 5 000 pieces of different equipment. Medical experts purchased equipment for paediatric and neonatal units as well as pull-down beds and recliners for parents, who stay by their children's side.
Let's say it loud: 'no to violence towards children!' If you would like to join in the action and help us tell the sad tale of Teddy Bear and raise awareness in your local community, it is easier than you would think.
The rules are simple to follow: you will need some soft toys. Next step is to bandage our little patients and attach a note bearing the motto of the action: 'don't hurt me, love me'. Then, you should display bears in public spaces in your area: be it a bus shelter, a park bench, a playground, or a railway station. You should make them visible, because the action is all about raising awareness, making people understand that they should react, pause, and take action when they see a child being hurt!
