You can now register and purchase your GOCC Run starter packs online! The family-friendly 5K run will take place on the day of the Grand Finale and will see 5000 runners take to the streets of Warsaw. The proceeds made from the sale of starter packs will go toward purchasing insulin pumps, which will be then rented to women with diabetes who are either pregnant or plan to get pregnant, allowing them to manage their diabetes easily and precisely. What is more, the proceeds will go towards financing CPR for Schools Programme.
The Race Office will be located in Sklep Biegacza (Wybrzeże Kościuszkowskie 45A) from January 8th until 13th of January and on the day of the Grand Finale from 10:00 until 12:00.
Months of preparation, thousands of events around the world and hundreds of thousands of people involved. The 32nd Finale of GOCC is just around the corner! In Warsaw, the Orchestra's heart will be beating the loudest at PGE Narodowy meadows. It is here Jurek Owsiak summed up preparations for the next edition of the fundraising.
The declared amount at the end of the 32nd Grand Finale day was PLN 175,426,813. Today, we have achieved the expected result in our fundraiser's account. However, it is not over yet. We continue to tally the funds. The final result will be revealed on 27 March!
Five days before the 32nd Grand Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, we visited the 'Pomnik - Centrum Zdrowia Dziecka' (Children's Memorial Health Institute) to ceremoniously inaugurate the first Ophthalmic Simulation Laboratory in Europe dedicated exclusively to the field of peadiatric ophthalmology.
