31st Grand Finale - watch us online!
The 31st Grand Finale is not just about local events or the main concert in Warsaw! Each year we do our best to make it possible for everyone to join our Orchestra from every corner of the Earth!
30 years have passed! Can you believe it? The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation was registered exactly on 2 March 1993.
The founders of the Foundation are Jerzy Owsiak, Lidia Niedźwiedzka-Owsiak, Bohdan Maruszewski, and Piotr Burczyński (all of them are, up to this point, the members of the board of the Foundation), but also Paweł Januszewicz, Walter Chełstowski, and Beata Bethke.
At first, our charity was just a small group of enthusiasts on a mission. Our team has grown to a few dozens of people now, but some of the first employees are still working in the organization, sharing their passion for spreading the good!
The GOCC Foundation was officially established soon after organizing its first public one-day fundraiser, the Grand Finale. However, before we have completed all the procedures it was the Children's Memorial Health Institute who would take care of all the documentation. It was a joint effort for a higher cause!

On 5 December, we organized the 68th Open Tender dedicated to the aim of the 30th Grand Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, i.e. paediatric ophthalmology.
Lidia Niedźwiedzka-Owsiak, who is the director of the medical division of the GOCC Foundation, was awarded an Honoris Causa at the Poznań University of Medical Sciences. This recognition was given in appreciation of her commitment to upholding the highest standards in healthcare.
