Those are the people who take matters into their own hands, who enjoy being active and working for the common good. Peace Patrol volunteers engage in activities outside of events organized by the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation, such as the Grand Finale charitable fundraising drive, Pol'and'Rock Festival, CPR for Schools initiative and many other projects.
Three-day training, which takes place in Szadowo-Młyn, a village located in the vicinity of Kwidzyn and Malbork. The trainees will learn first aid and CPR from qualified AHA instructors and will take part in survival tasks and activities which will ensure that they are ready to work as a team in difficult circumstances and in a difficult environment. The trainees will also be instructed on the laws and regulations concerning mass events and festivals in Poland.
30 major Polish NGOs have issued a joint statement on the proposed changes to the laws regulating public charitable collections in Poland. The changes were put forward by the Ministry of Interior and Administration and might be used to prevent Grand Finale charitable collection.
In the light of the recent events, the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation made a decision to expand the programme providing rehabilitation equipment for disabled people. The charity will increase the sum and scope of its activity in the area of personal help.
