PLN 14 million for children's ophthalmology
On 5 December, we organized the 68th Open Tender dedicated to the aim of the 30th Grand Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, i.e. paediatric ophthalmology.
We took our initiative all around the world and there are 120 000 volunteers working to raise money to improve the conditions at Polish hospitals for children. Everyone is welcome to volunteer with us - regardless of their age, religion and where they come from.
What unites them is positivity, optimism, and a few key elements which each volunteer must carry with them:
Please bear in mind that our volunteers do not do door-to-door fundraising. You can meet them on the streets and marketplaces of towns and cities across the country, and at different events taking place abroad. You can check if there are any fundraising events taking place in your area here.
Very often our volunteers would dress up to attract more attention to themselves, and they should be fundraising in a group - it's much safer that way.
If you meet one of our brave volunteers - even if you don't want to donate to our cause - give them a smile!

The merry tunes of the Great Orchestra reach the world's ends! Our melody of solidarity and friendship will once again play across the globe thanks to our amazing volunteers. What are the colours of the wind coming from both the poles?
As you already know, we play with everyone and for everyone. What is more, in Warsaw we play in a totally new location! For the first time ever the heart of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity will be beating at the PGE Narodowy meadows.
