We reached preliminary amount benchmark!

Starting mid-December we updated the counter on our homepage to show how much money has been actually transferred into our account - and our "benchmark" was the sum we have announced as the preliminary sum we raised. It is preliminary because it is based on estimations we receive from our Collection Centres, which often receive donations in foreign currency or receive valuable items. What is more, online collection and online auctions are still ongoing, so you still can support our objective - it means that we are still collecting funds to buy specialized equipment for children's hospitals in Poland. 

We keep updating the counter until the sum we actually have in our account matches the sum we announced as the preliminary result of our fundraiser - we now have 92 143 798 PLN - 21 48 79 33 EUR. 

The final result of our charitable effort will be announced on March the 8th, 2019. Until then, the counter on our website will be frozen and the funds raised by 120 000 volunteers worldwide, generous online donations and the results of exciting online auctions will be counted and re-counted. 

This year we are going to be buying equipment for specialized children's hospitals - it means purchasing very expensive equipment, such as CAT scanners, RTG machines, and MRI scanners. 

Yet again, we would like to stress that it is thanks to your involvement, commitment and generosity we can change the conditions at Polish hospitals and save the lives of children nationwide.
