It is customary for the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity to publish financial reports detailing the charity's medical purchases in the run-up to the Grand Finale fundraiser.

We always make sure to account for the funds raised at the annual public charitable collection. Our accounting period takes up to year and a half, so we can now publish the preliminary account of the purchases made during the 25th edition of Grand Finale.

During the 50th Open Tender, we have signed contracts to purchase almost 5 000 pieces of different equipment. Medical experts purchased equipment for paediatric and neonatal units as well as pull-down beds and recliners for parents, who stay by their children's side.

Time flies when you are doing good deeds! We have celebrated our 25th Grand Finale last year - and today we want to take this opportunity to look through the memories we made with you.

Equipment purchased during the 49th Open Tender will be donated to 224 different hospitals in Poland. This time we are buying devices for paediatric wards - you can check which children's hospitals will receive equipment purchased this week below.

medical equipment, what else! We commenced our shopping for equipment for geriatrics and paediatric wards. The Open Tender will take 2 days, as it involves equipment presentations, questions from the panel of experts and negotiations with the vendors.

Representatives from ten countries met in Brussels last weekend to discuss their experiences and share their knowledge and know-how about how it is to run and organise a Grand Finale fundraiser abroad!

This year our charitable Orchestra has played globally - taking our initiative to Japan, China, Georgia, all over Europe and fundraising for Polish medicine in the Americas. We decided to get together with the representatives of 10 international Collection Centres in Brussels over this weekend.

The Foundation has been supporting public medicine in Poland for 25 years, purchasing over 36 thousand pieces of equipment. The estimated worth of this equipment amounts to 720 000 000 PLN.

The Great Orchestra enjoys great success on the Internet! More than 20 million PLN donated online in 2017 set new record for online charity donations in Poland.

Bournemouth is a lovely seaside resort in county of Dorset. A vivid Polish community is 30 thousand strong, and we all came together in aid of the fundraiser for the first time ever!

Devices, gifted by companies featured during the telethon on the day of the Grand Finale, have been just delivered to a children's hospital in Łódź.

12 days ago, on the night of Janurary the 15th we have estimated, based on the reports of preliminary sums made by the Collection Centres and based on the results of on-line donations, that we have raised 62 418 767 PLN. Today, we have surpassed this amount and we keep counting!
