World Mental Health Day is meant to showcase the importance of emotional well-being and shine a light on the issues of mental health. The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity initiated a comprehensive project of improvement at psychiatric wards for children and young adults.

The upper house of the Polish parliament will host a debate on children's mental health services on October 21st. Our charity will join forces with the Senate to find the solution to the problems which plight children's psychiatric care in Poland

Our charity aims to improve the conditions at psychiatric wards for children and adolescents not only by purchasing medical equipment and hospital furniture, but also by engaging in meaningful discussions with the professionals in the field to seek long-term solutions.

We were honoured to receive the Gold Synapse award from the Polish Psychiatric Association. We were nominated in the "Friend of Psychiatry" category. We are delighted that our commitment to improving conditions at paediatric psych wards in Poland.
