27th Grand Finale charitable fundraiser will take place on Sunday, January 13th, 2019. The objective of the collection will be raising funds to purchase state-of-the-art equipment for specialist children’s hospitals in Poland. There are almost 50 medical facilities where children suffering from serious medical conditions can be diagnosed and then treated by qualified medical staff. Little patients are referred to these hospitals from all over the country. In order for these hospitals to provide sophisticated treatment, the hospitals require modern, and consequently, very expensive medical equipment.
Our charity will be focusing its attention on specialized diagnostics units, such as medical imagining, radiology, and laboratory units at Polish public hospitals for children.

HELPING IS CHILD’S PLAY
WE HELP LITTLE KIDS BY PURCHASING EQUIPMENT FOR SPECIALIST CHILDREN’S HOSPITALS
Grand Finale is organized locally by groups of volunteers working in regional Collection Centres and just like in the previous years, there will be nearly 1700 Collection Centres coordinating the work of 120 000 volunteers. Collection Centres are based around the world, wherever there's a thriving Polish community looking to come together and "play" in aid of children in Poland!
Collection Centres registration is our main priority - we are going to be "playing" with volunteers in Poland and across the world. Then, we will go on to register our volunteers. There will be, just like in the previous years, 120 000 volunteers. There will be equipped with colourful, cardboard Collection Boxes and 35 000 000 heart stickers. Some of them will be fundraising with POS "Collection Boxes", so our volunteers can receive donations made with credit cards. Our volunteers have always been the moving force of our initiative and for 26 years we have known that we can rely on them. Even when faced with absurdities of our realities in Poland, their enthusiasm, support and commitment to the cause give us the strength to keep going and keep us believing in our mission to help kids in Polish hospitals! - says Jurek Owsiak, Chairman of the board of the Foundation.
Less than 60 days before the 32nd Grand Finale fundraiser, the Collection Boxes were presented during a press conference. Just this year, there were 226,000 boxes produced.
96 days before the 32nd Grand Finale, during the 67th Open Tender, we have revealed the aim of the upcoming winter fundraiser. This time, the GOCC Foundation will focus on the post-pandemic lung diseases - the raised funds will be used to purchase equipment for children's and adults' respiratory units.
On 5 December, we organized the 68th Open Tender dedicated to the aim of the 30th Grand Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, i.e. paediatric ophthalmology.
