We must think about the children - especially those who need our support the most - the sick, disabled and abandoned by their parents. Kraszewo nursing care centre provides medical treatment and round the clock care to disabled children abandoned by their parents. The doctors, nurses, and carers working at the facility look after children with different disabilities and congenital defects. Despite little chances of children making the recovery, the staff at the nursing care centre are committed to ensuring that the children's quality of life is adequate.
What courage and bravery one must have to commit oneself to the care of children born with multiple defect and disabilities, often children abandoned by their parents. Without the support and loving care of these brave people, these children would not have stood a chance... There are very precious few such nursing care centres which can offer professional and tender care to children. These facilities rely on the support of charitable organizations, foundations, and private benefactors. says Jurek Owsiak, chairman of the board of the Foundation.
The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation has helped to equip the nursing care centre - starting with children's beds and other medical equipment, donating devices worth nearly 750 thousand PLN. This time the team representing the charity donated a modern ambulance. The vehicle, which is worth 250 thousand PLN, will be used to transport the little patients to and from rehabilitation and medical procedures.
