One of the flagship projects initiated and run by the charity behind the festival is CPR for Schools Programme. This educational initiative aims to introduce primary school children to the basics of CPR and first aid. Kids learn how to behave in an emergency and how to call for help. They take to this knowledge like fish to water and we are proud to say that our educational programme has been instituted in 91% of primary schools in Poland.
We invited kids and adults attending Woodstock Festival Poland to take part in a quick and fun course where they could learn how to administer CPR. Thanks to the joint effort of our qualified instructors working in the CPR for Schools tent and the staff at the Volkswagen's 'Little Rescuers' tent we have taught almost 1000 people how to help others!
Hundreds of participants wearing our original orange T-shirts? It's a signature feature of our "Get Even with Diabetes" Run! We will hold the 18th stationary edition of the run in the streets of Warsaw on 28 January. However, the virtual run starts today! You can still register online and add your time to the pool!
Traditionally, on Fridays just before the Grand Finale fundraiser, the GOCC Foundation hosts a press conference to sum up the preparations for the annual collection. As you already know, we play with everyone and for everyone. What is more, in Warsaw we play in a totally new location! For the first time ever the heart of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity will be beating at the PGE Narodowy meadows.
