The autumn has come and marked the commencement of the preparations for the 31st Summer Blaze in January! The theme of the upcoming Grand Finale will be announced on 12 October 2022 at 12:00 by Jurek Owsiak during a live videoconference broadcast from the GOCC Foundation headquarters. The next edition of our charity initiative will be held on the last Sunday of January.
This Wednesday, we will learn about the main objective of the 31st Grand Finale. Our winter fundraiser, a one-day charitable collection combining a public fundraiser with events, community activities, and online fundraisers, will be held on 29 January 2022. Jurek Owsiak will present the aim for which we will collect the funds across the country and abroad in the upcoming edition of our winter playing! A few days later, on 17 October 2022, begin the online registration of the GOCC Collection Centres and some intensive preparations for the 31st Grand Finale. Follow our websites for updates!
Last year we held the anniversary 30th edition of the GOCC Grand Finale. We raised money in aid of paediatric ophthalmology to ensure the highest standard of diagnostics and treatment. 1633 Collection Centres (including 90 International Collection Centres in 29 countries!) and thousands of volunteers joined the initiative, raising money in the traditional, card Collection Boxes and online eCollection Boxes. Together, from the national and international fundraisers, we managed to collect the total of PLN 224,376,706.35, i.e. over PLN 13,5 mln more than a year ago! For the next time, we proved our readiness to offer unconditional help. In 30 years, together, we have raised a fantastic amount of over PLN 1,75 bln and purchased nearly 70 000 medical devices.
30th Grand Finale was the first winter fundraiser dedicated to human's most important sense. Each year several thousands of little patients struggling with eyesight diseases are being admitted to the ophthalmology wards in Poland. The Foundation plans the purchase of specialized equipment for diagnosis and modern surgery devices.

Tradition has been fulfilled - the light to heaven shone during the 30th Final of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity!
As you already know, we play with everyone and for everyone. What is more, in Warsaw we play in a totally new location! For the first time ever the heart of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity will be beating at the PGE Narodowy meadows.
The fight against sepsis was the main aim of the 31st Grand Finale fundraiser which ended with over PLN 243 million raised. In less than a year, we have organized two Open Tenders to purchase medical equipment for microbiological laboratories across the country.
Lidia Niedźwiedzka-Owsiak, who is the director of the medical division of the GOCC Foundation, was awarded an Honoris Causa at the Poznań University of Medical Sciences. This recognition was given in appreciation of her commitment to upholding the highest standards in healthcare.
