Next year's edition of our winter fundraiser will take place, on January 10th, 2021. We are making all necessary adjustments to the fundraising process to ensure that we can hold our charitable fete safely and still have fun raising money for modern medical equipment.
New Roundabout in Gorzów Wielkopolski
Jurek Owsiak and the team representing the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity visited with the city council of Gorzów Wielkopolski to take part in the official unveiling of the new name of a brand-new roundabout. We are delighted that the members of the local government decided to honour our charitable work with such a tangible gesture. The members of the council wanted to express their appreciation for the commitment of all volunteers involved in our fundraiser and to express the gratitude for all equipment our charity has donated to the local hospital.
Overall, the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity has donated equipment for over PLN 14 000 000 (over EUR 3 000000). Medical devices gifted by our charity include MRI scanner with anaesthesia features as well as a cardiac monitor worth over PLN 8 500 000. The hospital has also received modern X-ray machine for PLN 1 300 000, hospital furniture including beds and bedside cabinets, anti-bedsore matrasses, and hearing testing tools.
The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity has oficially summed up its activities and support of Polish healthcare which aimed to address coronavirus pandemic in Poland. Our charity has donated medical equipment for PLN 48 000 000.
The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation announced the medical objective of the 29th edition of the Grand Finale fundraiser. In 2021 we will be raising money for laryngology, otorhinolaryngology, head diagnostics!
