Beautiful conversations at the Academy of the Finest of Arts - Pol'and'Rock is a place of exceptional meetings

Social activism, culture, travel, legislation, new media – we will definitely talk about these issues at the Academy of the Finest of Arts at the upcoming Pol'and'Rock Festival. Our conversations are always the result of an interesting exchange of views and opinions, or a well-asked question from the audience

The beginnings of the Academy of the Finest of Arts date back to 2006, when for the first time in Kostrzyn upon Oder we offered the festival audience, apart from concerts, meetings with interesting personalities from the world of culture, art, politics and social life. The format of the conversation with the audience gathered in the tent has not changed – we focus on a dynamic, open exchange of views, in which there is a place for asking questions, discussion, joy or even bursts of laughter. The format of the personalities we hosted at the Academy of the Finest of Arts did not change – we had the opportunity to introduce three Nobel Prize winners to the festival goers – Lech Wałęsa, Muhammad Yunus, and Olga Tokarczuk. This year, we will also host outstanding figures at the Makowice-Płoty Airport, and we invite everyone to talk to them not only as the audience present at the festival, but also Internet users who can ask the guests a question on the dedicated website of mBank, which is the patron of the Academy of the Finest of Arts and on the Discord server.

Travelling and discovering the world

Elżbieta Dzikowska will visit the Academy of the Finest of Arts at the special invitation of mBank. Dzikowska is a pioneer: traveler, explorer, documentalist, photographer, writer and journalist. For generations of viewers of the "Pieprz and Wanilia" program, she was a guide through exotic countries, and for fans of the "Groch i Kapusta" program, she discovered valuable and interesting places in Poland, becoming an ambassador of local tourism. The meeting with Elżbieta Dzikowska, chaired by Karolina Walczowska, will take place on Friday at 10:00AM.

Przemek Kossakowski and the “Down the road” team not only discover the world during their joint journeys. The protagonists of the program reveal their world to the viewers, showing what adversities, prejudices, and erroneous assumptions about themselves they have to deal with. The meeting with Przemek Kossakowski, the host of the program and members of the second season, will be hosted by Janusz Schwertner. The interview will take place at the Academy of the Finest of Arts on Saturday at 11:30AM.

Łukasz Czepiela is an acrobat pilot, known to the festival audience as the author of the impressive aerobatics show that graced the opening of the Most Beautiful Festival in the World in 2019.
