Neonatal Intensive Care Unitin Poznan named after the GOCC Foundation

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit II at the Gynaecological and Obstetric Hospital of the Medical University of Poznań is as of today named after the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity!

 

At 11:30 in the hospital started a press conference with the Director of the Hospital, Prof. Maciej Wilczak, and the Head of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Prof. Tomasz Szczapa, and the Rector of the Medical University in Poznań, Prof. Andrzej Tykarski. The GOCC Foundation was represented by Jurek Owsiak and the Great Orchestra’s team.

 

 

The Neonatal Intensive Care II is already the 2nd place in Poznań (next to the GOCC Square by the Greater Poland Children's Health Hospital), 13th GOCC ward, and 54th place in the world named after the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. The list of all the places is available here.

 

 

The Unit has been supported by the Foundation multiple times. Just this year, the GOCC purchased 30 devices for nearly PLN 2.2 million for the unit. The total GOCC support for the Gynaecological and Obstetric Hospital of the Medical University of Poznań is PLN 11.6 million worth of 8,142 devices.

Post-pandemic lungs - the aim of the 32nd Grand Finale

96 days before the 32nd Grand Finale, during the 67th Open Tender, we have revealed the aim of the upcoming winter fundraiser. This time, the GOCC Foundation will focus on the post-pandemic lung diseases - the raised funds will be used to purchase equipment for children's and adults' respiratory units.
