If you couldn't have been with us on a cloudy Sunday afternoon to see the game from the stadium seats, you could have tuned in to watch it live on TV. And we can now reveal that over 1.3 million fans of football and charity decided to watch the game home. It's an impressive result, considering the fact that it is 416 000 more viewers than two years ago when TVN played a charitable match against TVP.
Robert Stockinger, Cezary Kucharski, and Łukasz Wójcik scored for TVN, while the goals for the GOCC were scored by Dariusz Dudek, Jan Szczęsny, and Wojciech Mazolewski.
The aim of the game was to raise money to buy a modern ambulance for the top paediatric hospital. Sale of the tickets raised almost 430 000 PLN and we managed to raise 125 000 PLN via charitable texts sent on the day of the match, so we will be able to purchase an ambulance worth 500 000!
Traditionally, on Fridays just before the Grand Finale fundraiser, the GOCC Foundation hosts a press conference to sum up the preparations for the annual collection. Jurek Owsiak will present all our initiatives, actions, and activities as we prepare to celebrate another edition of the joyous celebration of kindness!
The fight against sepsis was the main aim of the 31st Grand Finale fundraiser which ended with over PLN 243 million raised. In less than a year, we have organized two Open Tenders to purchase medical equipment for microbiological laboratories across the country.
The registration of Collection Centres, i.e. hubs of volunteers organizing the Grand Finale events for their local community, is now over. Collection Centres will be actively participating in the 32nd Grand Finale fundraiser across Poland and in 101 locations around the world!
