2022-02-11 17:23:23

The Humanitarian Aid Point was operating from November 8th until January 31st. For 85 days of its activity, the Humanitarian Aid Point provided support to volunteers and activists working to help refugees stranded in the forests of the Polish-Belarussian border zone. Volunteers received material aid: medical supplies, clothes, camping equipment and medical supplies, later delivered to people struggling to survive.

Overall, in the three months of the activity at the Humanitarian Point, the activists received over 17 000 food supplies, over 40 000 medical items, over 2 500 items of clothing, including shoes, and over 1 500 camping items.

The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation has also donated 169 pieces of medical equipment to ambulance staff working on the border.

Moreover, our charity donated medical equipment to a hospital in Hajnówka, which received an influx of patients, who due to extended stay in the forest, dehydration, and fatigue, needed urgent medical help.
