Happy Easter 2023!
Best wishes to all our amazing volunteers! Stay healthy, and spread the good around the world!
The idea behind the 12th edition of the GOCC Run is to support two of our initiatives - the first one is, traditionally, focused on the purchase of personal insulin pumps for pregnant women with diabetes and, which is a novelty, to finance the running of our educational programme.
The family-friendly 5K run will take 5000 runners across the capital city - highlighting the importance of healthy choices. We also aim to draw public attention to the global diabetes epidemic.
Each participant of the run will receive a characteristic orange t-shirt. You can pick up your runner's packs in Sklep Biegacza, which is located in Warsaw. Make sure to register online by January 4th to be able to secure your participation in this fantastic sporting initiative!
If you are based outside Warsaw - don't worry about not being able to take part in the charitable run because there are local editions of the GOCC run - you can check if your local Collection Centre holds this sporting event here.
Best wishes to all our amazing volunteers! Stay healthy, and spread the good around the world!
On 9 May in Poland, we celebrate the Ophthalmologists and Ophthalmology Day – a very special date for the GOCC Foundation. Since 2001 we have run the Prevention of Retinopathy of Prematurity Programme!
Traditionally, on Fridays just before the Grand Finale fundraiser, the GOCC Foundation hosts a press conference to sum up the preparations for the annual collection. Jurek Owsiak will present all our initiatives, actions, and activities as we prepare to celebrate another edition of the joyous celebration of kindness!
