The beginning of December marks another milestone in the preparations for the Grand Finale fundraiser. It is high time the Collection Boxes and promotional posters were delivered to the 1600 Collection Centres all over the world! Almost 200 volunteers joined the action. Apart from our Peace Patrollers and the Foundation’s staff, employees of the UPS Polska with families got engaged. The company have been a huge supporter of the GOCC Foundation for several years now. The whole action was organized on 3 December in the UPS warehouses in Łazy.

A cardboard Collection Box is an indispensable element of the winter fundraiser. In order to deliver the Collection Boxes to the Collection Centres, the Foundation annually organizes an action of packing and posting the parcels. This year 1649 Collection Centre will fundraise to aid the objective of the Grand Finale. Among them, there are 87 centres located abroad in 24 different countries:

Australia, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Spain, Netherlands, Indonesia, Ireland, Japan, Canada, Luxemburg, Germany, Norway, Singapore, the USA, Switzerland, Sweden, the UK, Italy.

We met on Saturday to pack 160,000 Collection Boxes and 100,000 posters which fit into ca. 5,000 parcels.

Początek grudnia to tradycyjna wielka wysyłka do Sztabów! W tym roku w proces pakowania puszek i plakatów do ponad 1600 Sztabów na całym świecie zaangażowało się blisko 200 wolontariuszy, przede wszystkim z firmy UPS Polska.

Package shipping to the GOCC Collection Centres

The beginning of December is the traditional big shipment to Collection Centres! This year, nearly 200 volunteers, mainly from UPS Poland, were involved in the process of packing cans and posters to over 1,600 Collection Centres around the world.

What’s the repertory for this year?

The Orchestra will play for the 31st time to aid the Polish national healthcare system. This time the main objective of the Grand Finale is to purchase equipment which will allow for a quick diagnosis of bacteria that may lead to sepsis. For the first time in history, the Foundation will fundraise for all the patients in need, regardless of age. The Grand Finale for all – the little and the big ones.
