The process of counting the money raised at the Grand Finale public collection is lengthy and complicated. There are different fundraising methods to be accounted for and the money we raised is counted until March the 8th.
Six PR statuettes for the GOCC!
Our PR activities such as marketing and social media campaigns have caught the attention of public relations specialists who decided to award our work with six prestigious statuettes!
The jury of XVI edition of "The Golden Clips" (Złote Spinacze) gave out awards in 32 different categories and awarded 82 statuettes. We have been delighted to receive the following honours:
- Effectiveness - Golden Statuette for "Check your Blood Alcohol Content" campaign (BOSCATA Jacek Stachera, Kompania Piwowarska, Złoty Melon)
- Social Media - Silver Statuette for Pol'and'Rock Eco Festival campaign (The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation, Złoty Melon, BOSCATA Jacek Stachera)
- Social Awareness Event - Silver Statuette for 26th Grand Finale - The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation, Złoty Melon, BOSCATA Jacek Stachera)
- NGO and Third Sector Initiative - Bronze Statuette (The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation, Złoty Melon, BOSCATA Jacek Stachera).
We have also received the statuette awarded by the audience - and thanks to your votes we took home the beautiful trophy for this year's Grand Finale fundraiser - thank you!
During the 50th Open Tender, we have signed contracts to purchase almost 5 000 pieces of different equipment. Medical experts purchased equipment for paediatric and neonatal units as well as pull-down beds and recliners for parents, who stay by their children's side.
Th Foundation publishes detailed financial reports in order to account for the funds raised at public charitable collections and list what the money has been spent on.
