As if the fireworks display, known as 'Light to Heavens', was not enough excitement, we have just received an amazing gift from MasterCard. It was real-life treasure - a guitar not only signed by Mick Jagger (like many of these auction lots are), but an instrument he worked and composed on. You can hear the very same guitar on 'Alfie' soundtrack and it has been used to producte 'A Bigger Bang' album. Warsaw, Poland, the world! The enthusiasm which exploded in our country in 1993 has reached the most distant corners of the world in a flash. Already during the very first Grand Finale, we were present across the ocean!
The registration of Collection Centres, i.e. hubs of volunteers organizing the Grand Finale events for their local community, is now over. Collection Centres will be actively participating in the 32nd Grand Finale fundraiser across Poland and in 101 locations around the world!
For the eighteenth time, Jurek Owsiak, this time from the final stage on the PGE Narodowy meadows in Warsaw, opened the joyful run under the same slogan "Get Even with Diabetes". Crowds of running enthusiasts, after a five-kilometre route through the streets of Warsaw, will reach the finish line located in the same place.
