The 28th edition of Grand Finale fundraiser will take place on Sunday, January 12th and different Collection Centres planning to hold various fundraising events and initiatives from mid-December. Each member of the 120 000-strong group of volunteers will be instantly recognisable thanks to their smiles, and positive attitude as well as ID cards, lanyards, colourful Collection Boxes and a massive supply of red heart stickers with our logo.
A closer look at the ID card:
The ID card is not only beautifully designed and colourful, but it should also, above all, contain all relevant information - personal details of each volunteer (name and surname, and in case of a volunteer who is underage, information about their guardian), their photo, the official number of our fundraiser (assigned by the Ministry of Administration), hologram sticker, our official stamp and QR code.
Let's check out the Collection Box now
Very colourful and traditionally made out of cardboard, the Collection Box is a Grand Finale staple. Each volunteer will use the Collection Box branded with this year's fundraiser artwork and logo. Banderols, secure the Collection Box, which also must bear the volunteer's ID number. Volunteer's ID number must correspond with the number on the Collection Box. Look for the ID number on the upper lid of the Collection Box.
Positive attitude and hundreds of thousands of stickers
Grand Finale is a real phenomenon - a celebration of community, where donor and organisers celebrate their ability to help others. We have always wanted it to be a happy, joyful event which will break up the dreary winter months. Our volunteers are always cheerful and friendly - so please be friendly and courteous in return too!
We could not fail to mention our traditional red-heart stickers. Sticker with our logo is given in return for each donation, and our logo became one of the most famous symbols in Poland!
As you already know, we play with everyone and for everyone. What is more, in Warsaw we play in a totally new location! For the first time ever the heart of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity will be beating at the PGE Narodowy meadows.
Hundreds of participants wearing our original orange T-shirts? It's a signature feature of our "Get Even with Diabetes" Run! We will hold the 18th stationary edition of the run in the streets of Warsaw on 28 January. However, the virtual run starts today! You can still register online and add your time to the pool!
On 5 December, we organized the 68th Open Tender dedicated to the aim of the 30th Grand Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, i.e. paediatric ophthalmology.
