The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation decided to donate a state-of-the-art ambulance for "Zdroje" public hospital in Szczecin. The EMS was presented during a press conference.
Our charity bought and donated a fully-equipped neonatal ambulance. The ambulance can be used to transport the most vulnerable of little patients because it is equipped in the latest model of transport incubator.
We bought an ambulance for Szczecin hospital. It's a specialized neonatal ambulance, and it means that it is equipped in a transport incubator and other important devices, making it a small mobile hospital. This vehicle and equipment are worth around PLN 1 000 000, said Jurek Owsiak, chairman of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity
This specialized ambulance will serve patients at the Szczecin hospital, which will also receive an MRI from our charity. Dedicated MRI suite will be opened soon.
Until now, "Zdroje" hospital in Szczecin received 298 medical devices worth PLN 9 363 552, 10.
Equipment on board of the ambulance:
- Atom V808 transport incubator on Ferno Mondial series stretchers
- Quebe mini cardiac monitor
- transport ventilator with a humidifier function
- four infusion pumps with docking station
- transport biochemical and blood gas analysers
