The purchase of this modern multifunctional emergency vehicle, specially tailored for the needs of Children's Memorial Hospital in Warsaw - one of the most important paediatric clinics in the country - was made possible thanks to the money raised through the sale of tickets for our charitable football match. The tickets have fetched almost 430 thousand PLN, while the funds raised via texts sent during the game amounted to 125 thousand PLN!
We would like to stress that it is you - people who came to cheer for us to the game and those who supported us by sending text messages - are the ones who have effectively made our plan to help this hospital a reality. We would also like to thank the team at the TVN Foundation for teaming up with us and sharing our goal of helping children in need!
Five days before the 32nd Grand Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, we visited the 'Pomnik - Centrum Zdrowia Dziecka' (Children's Memorial Health Institute) to ceremoniously inaugurate the first Ophthalmic Simulation Laboratory in Europe dedicated exclusively to the field of peadiatric ophthalmology.
On 5 December, we organized the 68th Open Tender dedicated to the aim of the 30th Grand Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, i.e. paediatric ophthalmology.
The 31st Grand Finale is not just about local events or the main concert in Warsaw! Each year we do our best to make it possible for everyone to join our Orchestra from every corner of the Earth!
