The Polish community living in Germany really delivered this time around! The concerts, which took place at the famous BACKSTAGE attracted a huge crowd - almost 2000 people enjoyed the charitable performances and shows. There was something for fans of each type of music: mellow jazz sounds, vibrant and rhythmic pop music, and of course, some good hard-rock. International line-up did not disappoint: there were seven bands from Poland, Germany, the US, Spain, Columbia, and Bulgaria!
The audience was also generous when it came to supporting the fundraiser, and volunteers collected € 16 000, which equals to the sum of 65 000 PLN! It's a great start for the initiative, which will "play" for charity in Munich for many years to come!
Warsaw, Poland, the world! The enthusiasm which exploded in our country in 1993 has reached the most distant corners of the world in a flash. Already during the very first Grand Finale, we were present across the ocean!
Hundreds of participants wearing our original orange T-shirts? It's a signature feature of our "Get Even with Diabetes" Run! We will hold the 18th stationary edition of the run in the streets of Warsaw on 28 January. However, the virtual run starts today! You can still register online and add your time to the pool!
On 9 May in Poland, we celebrate the Ophthalmologists and Ophthalmology Day – a very special date for the GOCC Foundation. Since 2001 we have run the Prevention of Retinopathy of Prematurity Programme!
