As the light dimmed and staff, camera operators, musicians, and volunteers filtered out of the vibrantly decorated studio to get some rest before the big day tomorrow, the counter on our website displayed a sum of PLN 11 850 688! Our online fundraisers and online auctions are going strong and we are excited to see that people feel more and more comfortable donating via online platforms. We have selected the most popular payment methods and are always looking for new solutions when it comes to interactivity and security of our donation platforms.
For instance, our eCollection Box is a great option for those looking to emulate the experience of donating to a volunteer - traditionally each donation is rewarded with a red-heart sticker, so each donation made to eCollection Box generates a digital glowing heart.
Our charity signed a contract for the purchase of more protective equipment for frontline medical workers. We ordered 50 000 coveralls, brining the sum we allocated for COVID-19 Relief Initiative to PLN 30 000 000.
Allegro has donated PLN 2 000 000 to our COVID-19 Relief Fund allowing us to order additional 24 medical ventilators, bringing the overall number of ventilators we bought in aid of coronavirus relief to 71.
