It might sound strange - but we really enjoyed our visit to the hospital. It is a joy to see dedicated staff in action, a perfect cooperation between the local council and the hospital, which work together for the benefit of the patients.
It was especially impressive when we saw the humble beginnings of the clinic. They have come truly a long way and we are very proud to have been able to help because we have donated equipment worth almost 2. 000 000 PLN! We could see with our own eyes how the 111 pieces of sophisticated medical machinery have been put to good use in the neonatological ward, where even the smallest of babies receive vital help in the first moments of their lives.
We have met the wonderful medical personnel, dedicated doctors and nurses, who watch over the most fragile babies and the volunteers who yearly organise the fundraisers for the benefit of public medicine in Poland. This year the Collection Centres working in Ostrów Wielkopolski raised almost 196 thousand PLN!
