The Grand Finale was a moth ago - can you believe it? neither can we, to be quite honest. There is still something that everyone can do to help our charity.
- You can join the Peace Patrol and begin the adventure of your lifetime. Volunteers you see sporting red t-shirts at the Woodstock Festival Poland and at the Grand Finale? They are all members of our Peace Patrol voluntary service, and are absolutely indespensible at the events we organise throughout the year. Peace Patrol is a really unique phenomenon - this is where friendships and amazing memories are made. Members of the Patrol have to go for a 3-day course to learn CPR, first aid, and laws governing organisation of mass events, such as Woodstock Festival Poland. They also gain vital experience of being a member of a diverse team. Are you 18? Are you willing to do something different with your life? Don't hesitate and join us!
- Take part in the CPR for Schools Programme and make sure that your little pupils know how to save someone's life. One of the aims of the Great Orchesta of Christmas Charity is to promote CPR knowledge and first aid education in Poland. We achieve this goal with the help of amazing, caring, and enthusiastic primary school teachers, who take part in our weekend training course. We equip them with teaching aids and provide materials and traning, and they, in turn teach CPR to their students. We believe that teaching CPR from a very young age fosters good habits and teaches children to become responsible members of society.
- Make a stand against child abuse and hold "Teddy's Tale" event in your local area. It is very easy to organise - you would need soft toys and a bit of time. Bandage the bears to highlight the problem of violence against children, who often suffer in silence. Display teddies in public spaces. You can also hold educational talks with children and grown-ups alike.

Traditionally, on Fridays just before the Grand Finale fundraiser, the GOCC Foundation hosts a press conference to sum up the preparations for the annual collection. Jurek Owsiak will present all our initiatives, actions, and activities as we prepare to celebrate another edition of the joyous celebration of kindness!
