The Grand Finale is a charitable collection, but it often referred to as a 'carnival' and it has always had music and fun at its core. That's why this rock'n'roll spirit is always present when we meet to collect money to help others. The artists performing on the day of the Grand Finale waiver their fees and perform for free - there are concerts taking place in towns big and small, in Poland and abroad - we play with the help on over 1700 Collection Centres, which are located all over the globe.
Wilki - that's a cult Polish rock band. They have celebrated their 25th anniversary with a stunning, nostalgic show at last year's Woodstock Festival Poland and brought some of that summer festival magic with them to the cold Warsaw evening.
The concerts will continue after we enjoy the spectacular 'Light to the Sky' fireworks display, which is meant to send a positive signal to the 'angels up above' and to unite all people who were working for the common goal - establishing a Collection Centre, organizing a fundraiser locally for their community, volunteering or donating money to ensure that all babies born in the country have the same access to medical care. We all aim to celebrate the communities created by their participation in the Grand Finale!
The concerts will continue after the fireworks display.
