The Great Orchestra played its 32nd Grand Finale! It was an exceptional day. And the declared amount of funds raised during this year's collection exceeded our expectations!
The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation is committed to Covid-19 relief in Poland. The Foundation decided to make additional purchases to provide extra equipment for hospitals tasked with treating coronavirus patients.
The charity has already signed contracts to secure quick delivery of 150 intensive care unit beds and 50 000 personal protection equipment sets for frontline medical workers for PLN 20 000 000. The charity has also purchased Covid-19 analyser, which will be delivered to ONCOLAB laboratory in Łódź, allowing the app to maximize its potential. Additional 157 cardiac monitors, worth over PLN 4 000 000 will be sent to Polish hospitals as well. All purchases made as a part of Covid-19 relief effort are done in consultation with the Ministry of Health to ensure that support goes towards hospitals which need the equipment the most.
The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity launched a Covid-19 Relief fund, addressed to the charity's business partners and corporate sponsors, who wish to donate funds towards the purchase of equipment which will be used to fight the epidemic in Poland.
Emergency medical equipment purchases are not the only way in which the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation. The charity runs and coordinates volunteer outreach to people, who due to underlying conditions are unable to leave their houses and provides parents and kids with a daily hour-long show to offer cheer and comfort to people who are self-isolating.

As you already know, we play with everyone and for everyone. What is more, in Warsaw we play in a totally new location! For the first time ever the heart of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity will be beating at the PGE Narodowy meadows.
For the eighteenth time, Jurek Owsiak, this time from the final stage on the PGE Narodowy meadows in Warsaw, opened the joyful run under the same slogan "Get Even with Diabetes". Crowds of running enthusiasts, after a five-kilometre route through the streets of Warsaw, will reach the finish line located in the same place.
